Dear Parents,

Happy week parents and students. To the familes that know well done to the New England Patriots for their super bowl victory!
A big thank you to Josef and Laith that have organised healthy delicious smoothies that are being made and sold at Håkans cafe. They have already raised well over 200kr for the class fund that is now pushing well into the 8000kr mark. It has been so impressive seeing students get involved.
Only two weeks left until sports break, It would be great to see all students working hard for the last 7 school days beforehand.

February 13th  Southern Sweden Sports Association Floorball for Mini, Junior, and Senior students.

The tournament will start Wednesday morning from 9:00 and conclude at 15:30 on February 13th, 2019. 
There will be no tournament fee to participate, with a trophy for the overall school champion of the day with the most points accrued and one trophy for each age/gender division.

Only 10 students will be selected for this sports event (5 from each class if possible)

Dear Parents,

Wow! Nearly one month down already! Today is the movie night and it seems there have been around 40 tickets sold which is a great success. A big thank you to the families who have supplied snacks and supported the event.
February will fly by as well with a study day on the 15th followed by the Sports Break. Assignments and task will mount up so it is important students spend some time each night making sure they begin, continue or finished tasks. I know my I&S task was left to the last minute by some students and it does reflect on the final product!
Also we should mention a big congratulations to the MYP3 students, whose overall results were probably the best in the school! Well done!
Please get back the consent forms for the social media project as soon as you can, so we are prepared.

Dear Parents,

Happy week 4 parents and students!
It seems we are all getting back into the routine of things which is great. However, there are a few things we really need you to discuss with your children. 
1. Phones in the lunch hall are not allowed.
2. Students are being very loose with their language and  need to be careful how they speak in the school. 
3. Wrestling and fighting (even if it is a "joke") is not allowed in school. These things quickly and easily escalate. 
4. ALL staff in school must be shown respect.
Thank you in advance for discussing this with your child.

A big thank you to the students in MYP3 who have organized the movie night. They did almost everything by themselves and independently.

Dear Parents,

Hello and welcome back to the second half of the year! We hope you and your child are feeling fresh and ready to go in 2019!
We had a fun end of the year with our Secret Santa and Quiz and want to thank all of those for participating. It was a great way to wrap up 2018.
To start on a positive note for 2019 it is great to announce that the students have raised over 6000kr for the class. This money will go towards the a class trip for the students. A huge thanks to Sarah and Rebekah for organising all of this and Dorte for taking care of the money. It has been a great effort by many students and parents.
We look forward to seeing progress from your students over the coming months and finishing the year on a high!

Dear Parents,

REMINDER for students to get their Secret Santa in for Friday. You do not need to go out of your way, just something small to open.  We do not want any students to miss out, so please get them in.

Also we have put in a lot effort for Friday and it should be a great day with a quiz and prizes for the students. We have organised the students into groups and would love all to come along!

From all of us to all of you we hope you have a fantastic break with loads of quality time together.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the students and parents helping with the fundraising. In particular Sarah and Rebekah who have spent many hours organizing this in their own time! Students received a name for their "Secret Santa" today. This a gift exchange for the last day of term where students will buy each other a present for no more than 50kr. It does not need to be anything special, rather something nice for students to do on the last day.
