Hi parents and caregivers,

With such a warm start to the year it only makes sense for the students to want to spend as much time outside as possible! It is important to note however, that students must attened the lunch the school provides for them. There are issues with ratios and portions for students and we would hate to see food go to waste. Students are also rostered on to clean up after each other so it is important to each do their bit and attened lunch.
Assingments and tasks will be making a start and it's a great idea to get ahead of these early. We already have a task for the community project starting!
We are also starting our first fundraising activity of the year with students selling cookies from kakservice, so please be aware of that.

Hi parents and caregivers.
"Don't call it a comeback! We've been here for days!"
That's right a new school year is upon us and we have been at school, revving our engines, making sure the new school year runs as smoothly as possible. With a new school in a beautiful location, there is no doubt a sense of excitement around MIS this year. In particular the MYP4's our wonderful leaders of the new school should be excited. Whilst being the top dogs will be fun, it does come with a fair bit of responsibility.
MYP4 will be full of the usual academic expectations, with a whole lot more added on top. We will have the community project, which undoubtedly is the biggest task of the MYP. We are also trying to set a new tradition in the school by fundraising and taking the students on a more educational trip further away than what we usually do.
This will all take a lot of time for the students that will be well worth it!
Student are to be here 10.00 on Thursday and will meet in Leightons room on the 3rd floor (follow the noise).
We both look forward to seeing yourselves over the year and are excited for the possibilities ahead.
