week 45

Dear Parents,
It's time again for the Student Led Conferences. It will take place on Wednesday November 8 and 15 from 13.00-16.30. A Doodle Invitation has been sent out. Please choose an empty time slot as soon as possible. Week 44 is a break and the school is closed.

  • October 26 from 17.00 Concert for Nikki





  • November 8 at 17.00 in the Aula. Information regarding dropping the Swedish National Curriculum 
  • November 14 at 09:45 - 11:40 We will watch Sameblod at Panorama. The school starts as normal but we will walk from school to Panorama together.

    Dear Parents,

    • Week 42 Drop off items for Flea Market. Donate your items for the Flea Market and sort in designated boxes between 8.00-10.00. The boxes are outside PE Hall.
    • October 21 Flea Market in the PE Hall at MIS 10.00-14.00.
    • October 24 International Day

      Week 41

      Dear Parents,
      `Skollinspektionen` has approved our request of dropping the Swedish National Curriculum and is allowing us to function as a pure IB school. This will be put into practice from the Autumn term 2018.
      Information regarding the decision will be given to you on November 8 at 17.00 in the Aula at MIS.

        Ball drop - producing a table of results and graph from a basic ball drop experiment


        The students will have carried out a ball drop activity in class and then we will have worked through what a table of results and graph should look like. They have also been shown how to produce both of these via google sheets. They will now have to take their data and transform it into an electronic table of results and graph.

        Week 40

        Dear Parents,

         As some of you probably have heard, one of our students in MYP 4, has very sadly passed away after a long illness. We have informed all the students this morning (October 4th) and a memorial ceremony will be placed outside the nurse's office with candle, photo and book of condolence.
